Our Mission & Purpose

Giving Promise & inspiration

Lets become intentional

As we all know mental health is not a linear journey and healing can be the most difficult part. Here at intentional minds, we are looking to meet client where they are in life and hopefully collaborate a healthy and manageable lifestyle to meet their personalize needs.

Here at intentional minds, we value human connection, empathy, compassion, and growth. We whole- heartedly believe that through hard work and dedication that we can assist individuals and families to develop an ability to unlearn unhealthy behaviors and habits overtime.

Hand in hand, we are dedicated in being a resource for diverse human populations to re-image themselves in being the versions of themselves they always imagined, but maybe had difficulty achieving on their own.

In working with clients, we like to emphasize a person- centered, psycho- dynamic, CBT, and existentialism framework amongst other theoretical orientations in an effort to help meet client needs.

Clients preferred

Here at Intentional mind we have no interest in delineating between preferred clients bc we accept everyone regardless of age, sex, race, sexuality, disability, and identity.

Inspirational Poem of the Week

Well, son, I’ll tell you:
Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.
It’s had tacks in it,
And splinters,
And boards torn up,
And places with no carpet on the floor—
Bare;
But all the time
I’se been a’climbin’ on,
And reachin’ landin’s,
And turnin’ corners,
And sometimes goin’ in the dark,
Where there ain’t been no light.
So boy, don’t you turn back;
Don’t you sit down on the steps,
’Cause you finds it’s kinder hard;
Don’t you fall now—
For I’se still goin’, honey,
I’se still climbin’,
And life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.
